Why Train For A HYROX Race At Proper Fitness?
Our HYROX training in Denver is built around three key pieces designed to help you feel stronger, more prepared, and more confident on race day.
1. Semi-Private HYROX Training
We offer semi-private training focused on building the strength and conditioning needed to perform well in a HYROX race. These sessions are designed to improve strength for key race stations while also developing threshold, aerobic capacity, and overall work output. With coach guidance and a motivating training environment, you will build the fitness foundation needed to handle both the demands of the stations and the endurance required throughout the race.
2. Friday Morning Track Workouts
Starting May 1, we will be offering HYROX-focused track workouts every Friday morning at 6:30 AM at Denver North High School. These sessions are designed to improve running efficiency, pacing, aerobic development, and race-specific conditioning so you can move better and recover faster between stations. Running is a major part of HYROX, and these workouts will help you become more efficient and prepared.
3. Taper Week and Race Day Guidance
In addition to training, we will provide a taper week schedule leading into race day so you know how to reduce training appropriately while staying sharp and ready to perform. We will also provide race day nutrition guidance to help you fuel properly before and during the event. This gives you a more complete HYROX preparation plan, not just workouts, so you can show up feeling ready physically and mentally.
